Savannah River

Savannah, GA is probably one of the best historical towns I have ever visited. The rich history of the town combined with the maintenance of the buildings really puts gives this place its own personality.

The last of this dear city

We stopped on the side of the road to see where this trail would take us...and it ended up next to this lake with what I believe is a marsh next to it.
The train museum that I visited was pretty amazing. It has one of the last train roundtables in the country. Museums are full of information and such history!

It was pouring in Savannah and I wanted to take advantage of the puddles but none of the photos I took came out the way I wanted them to. This was the photo I ended up with and it pretty much sums up the expression of the entire photo taking session! I really do love using alleys as a background location for photos - it's always empty and you never know what you're going to find.

Oh Dear Savannah

I love watching kids so care free, so happy playing in the fountain.

All in all, Savannah is a wonderful little city with immense historical value. Not to mention Tybee Island is right next door. Jet skiing is one of the best experiences ever!
